An Original acrylic painting (no prints or reproductions)
Created in your chosen size
Designed around your colour palette and story
Unframed and ready to hang (painting continues around the edges)

Signed by the artist (plus signed/dated on the back)
A Certificate of Authenticity
If you’re gifting the artwork, I can also provide a simple “Commission Gift Certificate” you can print.

The process
How we’ll create your artwork (simple + collaborative)
1) Enquiry
Send me a message with a little about what you’re imagining—size ideas, colours you love, and where it will hang.
2) Complimentary consultation
We’ll chat (phone/video/in person if local) about your vision, your space, and what you want the piece to feel like.
3) Concept + direction
I’ll confirm the size, palette, timeframe, and price. You’ll receive a clear contract document detailing what we have agreed before I begin.
4) Painting begins
I start your artwork in layers—building colour, texture, and depth. This is where the magic happens.
5) Progress update
You’ll get one progress update partway through so you feel confident it’s heading in the right direction.
6) Final photos + delivery
Once finished and varnished, I’ll send final images and arrange pickup or courier delivery.
Pricing guide
Commission pricing
Pricing depends on size, complexity, and whether you’d like me to visit your space (Kapiti Coast local).
As a guide:
Small (up to 30 x 30cm): from $500
Medium (around 90 x 60 cm): from $950
Large (around 100 x 75 cm): from $1200
What’s included: consultation, concept development, the original artwork, varnish, and professional finishing.
Not included: framing (most works are ready-to-hang), courier costs (quoted based on location).
Tip: If you tell me your budget range, I can recommend the best size/options to suit.
Deposit + payment plan
How payment works
To book your commission date in my calendar:
50% deposit is required to start
The remaining 50% is due when the painting is complete (before delivery)
If you’d prefer, I’m happy to offer a simple payment plan for larger pieces—just ask in your enquiry.
Timeframes
How long does it take?
Most commissions take 4–6 weeks from deposit to completion (depending on size and current bookings).
If you need the piece by a specific date (e.g. a gift), let me know early—I’ll always tell you honestly what’s possible.

Delivery options
Local pickup: Kapiti Coast (free)
Courier within NZ: quoted based on size/location
Your artwork will be carefully packed to protect edges and surface.

Can you match my existing décor?
Yes—if you send photos of your room (and any key colours you want to work with), I can design a palette that fits beautifully.
Can you include specific symbols or story elements?
Absolutely. I love adding meaningful details—like favourite flowers, birds, pathways, steps, coastal references, or subtle emblems.
Will it look exactly like the reference images?
Each artwork is original, so it won’t be a replica—but we’ll agree on a clear direction and feel (colour, mood, composition style).
Do you offer refunds?
Because commissioned work is custom-made, deposits are generally non-refundable once I begin. If something unexpected happens before I start, please contact me and we’ll work it out.
Can I request changes?
You’ll receive one progress update. Minor adjustments can be made at that stage. Once the piece is finished and varnished, changes aren’t possible.
Do you ship internationally?
I can, depending on size. Ask me and I’ll provide options and a quote.
